This Privacy Policy explains what data Rahbar collects, how it is used, and what controls you have over your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you register or update your profile in Rahbar, we may collect:

• Mobile phone number (used for OTP verification)
• Full name
• Village / City
• Gender
• Age
• Email address (optional)
• Blood group (optional)
• Occupation (optional)
• Current location / city entered by you (optional)

2. Location Data

With your permission, Rahbar accesses your device location only to:

• Calculate accurate Namaz (prayer) times for your area
• Determine Qibla direction

We do not store your precise GPS coordinates on our servers. Location data is processed on-device and used only for these features.

3. Device Sensor Data

Rahbar uses your device magnetometer (compass sensor) for Qibla direction. Sensor data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to us.

4. Usage Data

We collect basic app usage information (such as screens visited and features used) to improve app performance and user experience. This data does not directly identify you.

5. How We Use Your Information

• Verify identity through OTP-based authentication
• Display and maintain your profile within the app
• Calculate Namaz prayer times for your location
• Determine and display Qibla direction
• Deliver Payam messages and Raahbar content
• Improve app features, stability, and performance
• Respond to support requests

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Your data may be shared only in limited situations:

• With trusted service providers needed to operate the app (such as hosting providers), under confidentiality obligations
• When required by law or when necessary to protect user rights and safety
• As part of a business transfer (for example merger or acquisition), with prior notice where required

7. Data Storage & Security

Authentication tokens may be stored securely on your device through encrypted local storage mechanisms. Profile data is stored on secure servers.

Security controls include:

• HTTPS encryption for data in transit
• JWT-based authentication and session controls
• Token expiry and automatic session management

No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, but we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your data.

8. Permissions We Request

• Location (Foreground): used for prayer times and Qibla direction. We do not request background location access.
• Motion & Sensors: used for the compass-based Qibla feature. Sensor data is not transmitted.

You may deny these permissions. Related features may not function, while other app features remain available.

9. Children's Privacy

Rahbar is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe such data was provided, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights

You may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Update or correct profile data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw location permission via device settings at any time

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be reflected through the updated date above. Continued use of Rahbar after updates means you accept the revised policy.
